Improvised and heavy.
How do you approach making a new tune?
Lately I’ve been just turning on a bunch of gear and playing fully improvised techno while recording. Something always seems to pop out as a worthwhile stand alone tune so I will extract that. The results retain a “live” feel to them which is very important to me.

I’d start with the mood and build the elements from there. I’m assuming that’s wrong since I do everything backwards.

I don’t really go to festivals but I suppose it would be the up + comer on the smaller stage.

Quality DJs in every genre, whether it’s house, techno, dnb, dub, dubstep….the list goes on.
